I have a computer running “Linux Suse 10” which is connected to a “Linksys” router. This computer has 2 “ethernet” cards. One is for the connection with the router, and one to connect the computer which has Windows XP.

The computer with “Suse,” which is connected directly to the “Linksys -192.168.1.1,” has internet access, but the second computer doesn’t.

I would like to access the internet from the computer with Windows XP. I could do that with Windows XP and also from “Mandriva,” but until now I can’t do it with “Suse 10.”

Am I missing a couple of configurations?

In general, you need to enable “NAT/Port Forwarding” on the “Suse Box” and then set the “Suse Box” as the gateway for XP. Check if “SUSE” uses “KDE.” If it does, you should be able to use “guidedog” to help you set this up.
